Born Westchester, Illinois, September 14, 1971; admitted to bar, 1996, Illinois and U.S. District Court, Northern District of Illinois; 2001 U.S. District Court, Northern District of Indiana. Education: DePaul University College of Liberal Arts & Sciences (B.A., summa cum laude, 1993); DePaul University College of Law (J.D., with honors, Order of the Coif, 1996). Member: Defense Research Institute and the Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel. Mr. Airdo’s area of practice is in general tort litigation including premises liability, product liability, and healthcare litigation. Through his work with Christian Brothers Services, he has a broad base of experience in representing the unique legal needs of religious institutes and religiously sponsored ministries. Mr. Airdo also specializes in legal matters involving schools, colleges, universities, and mental health professionals. Mr. Airdo is a frequent lecturer speaking on topics specific to nursing homes and assisted living facilities, the new HIPAA regulations, and the liability traps of business owners. Recently, he has spoken on the legal and pastoral response of organizations to victims of childhood sexual abuse. Mr. Airdo serves as a Trustee for the Village of Bartlett, Illinois. The Village Board of Trustees is charged with setting policies, approving budgets, and generally overseeing the activities of the Village management. In addition to his municipal services, Mr. Airdo also serves on the Board of Directors for LaSalle Manor, a Christian Brothers Retreat Center in Plano, Illinois. |
